for ISBN in the logbook supplied.
2. I/We will only
assign
ISBNs to publications in respect of which I/We hold(s) the
publishing rights.
3. I/We will not sell, license, distribute,
disseminate, assign or otherwise make my/our assigned ISBN prefix and
ISBNs available to other publishers or to any third parties.
DISCLAIMER
1. The agency will not be responsible for any legal
implication in case the ISBN assigned by the
publisher is not as per the logbook issued by the Agency.

On registration
under ISBN system I/We shall send a published copy of OR
the jacket of each ISBN assigned title(s).

The agency retains
the right to verify the address and/or identity of the Publishing
Agency, in any manner it may deem fit.

INSTRUCTIONS:
While sending
the data for Registration under ISBN system, please read the
instructions:
1. Once
an ISBN is assigned to a title; cannot be reassigned.
2. A
separate ISBN must be assigned to the different formats in which a
particular title is published whether paper / cloth binding or in
different languages.
3. An
ISBN can be assigned to the whole set of volumes of a multi volume as
well as to each individual volume.
4.
An ISBN can be acquired for the following
published items i.e.
a)
Printed materials
b)
Microforms;
c)
Educational Videos or Movies
d)
Mixed media publications
e)
Microcomputer software (only educational)
f)
Atlases and maps
g)
Publications in Braille
h)
Electronic publications
5.
An ISBN is not assigned to the following
publisher’s products:
a)
Advertising material (sales catalogues,
price lists, prospectuses, publicity flyers,
etc).
b)
Wall posters, Newspapers, leaflets
c)
Lists of exhibits without additional text
d)
Programs of theatrical, musical, and
other performances
e)
Curricula of schools and colleges of all
kinds
f)
Lecture and teaching material of
manuscript character
g)
Calendars and diaries
h)
Forms & colouring books
i)
Journals and periodicals
NOTE:
ISBN is strictly meant for books only.
Any
incomplete form will not be accepted.
